To pee or not to pee (that's not the question)

Oh the joys of potty training! We have gotten past the "number one" stage, kind of. Our problem is keeping Ty from peeing anywhere and anytime. We were at Tristyn's soccer game the other day and look over at Ty and he has his pants down to his ankles peeing(sorry Mom, I guess I should say wetting for your sake) on the closest tree. It so happened to be the tree that everyone else was sitting under for shade as well. The other night I caught him in this picture going off our deck. His preschool teacher told us they were all out playing on the grass when he felt the urge to drop the britches. So now we just need to work on the location. As for "number two" we haven't quite decided to try that yet. We keep pullups in strategic locations around the house for when the urge hits. He'll go and change into the pullup, do his business (or "mess" as Mom would say) then come and ask us to change him. Tracey wrapped a bunch of presents and put them by the toilet with the idea that everytime he "messed" on the potty he could open one. We'll ask him when he wants to go so he can open a present, and he'll say next Sunday. If it happens to be Sunday, he'll say "tommorow". One of these days he'll get over his phobia. It's a good thing he's never been to scout camp and had to "mess" in a kybo, or he'd never get over his phobia. I had to go to counseling after scout camp just so I could "mess" again, especially after the campfire story about the "Kybo Killer". Not a good story!

Maybe it's the ducks. Who wants to take care of business with a bunch of ducks looking on.

Poor Ty. I think all his problems come from undressing and inspecting barbie dolls. And you thought Ben has issues!
