Sometimes I get bored mowing the lawn the same... ...so I send secret messages.

Hugs

So we have this little thing at our house that when the kids are fighting they have to go sit in the corner together and hug. It's quite humorous really. Tristyn hates it and Ty loves it. So while they are hugging Ty will antagonize Tristyn even more so that more time gets added on. Tristyn wouldn't even look at me because she was crying, while Ty couldn't stop grinning. This little hug session lasted around 11 minutes from the original 5 because of the extra antagonizing. I had to walk into the other room because I couldn't stop laughing at the difference in the two attitudes. Now if only this would work for Tracey and I.

Ogden marathon 2010

I'm grateful to have made it through this one. I knew it wasn't a good sign when the second song that came on my i-pod after I started was Shania Twains "man, I feel like a woman". I really need to work on my play-list. Anyway here's a few pictures that My Mom took along the way. Thanks for being there to cheer me on Mom and Dad. Also thanks to all those who cheered along the way, it's always a big lift.

Congrats Tristyn!!

Tristyn decided to run for peer leader for her sixth grade year. After hours of working on posters with her Grandma and a skit with Tracey and I, she made it. Congratulations Tristyn (even though they slaughtered your name on your certificate.) We are so proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying to achieve something.

Here's wishing all you mothers a very happy mothers day! Where would we be without our Mothers? I love you Tracey! Thanks for being a great Mom to our two children. Love ya Mom! You've always been such a wonderful Mother.

Insurance

Somebody sent me this in an e-mail and I couldn't stop laughing. Honestly if you did drink you certainly wouldn't stop after seeing this. If you didn't drink, I think I'd start just for some extra insurance that my lips never touched theirs. "Oh I'm sorry sweety I'd love a kiss...but I drink liquor and I'll never ever stop!" I would walk around with a bottle in my hand from that day forward.

"Brace" yourself

Tristyn got her braces on this week. She was so excited...until they got on. Here's a few photo's of the process. She did really well and she's only complained once about her mouth hurting. Okay maybe twice, or three times...you get the idea.
