Food Show

Last week we had our annual Associated Food Stores food show. It was highlighted by the Oakridge Boys concert. Thats right, you know the boys. Elvira was in the house. Enjoying a nice dinner on one of the nights.

VM breakfst

We had our sixth annual Customer appreciation breakfast Saturday at the store. We figured we fed somewhere between 500-600 people. It was a lot of fun even though we had to brave a little cool weather and a few raindrops. Thanks to the Valley for all of your support. Also thanks to friends and family for all your help putting it on.

Biggest Loser

We were at the mall the other night for Tracey's birthday (Happy birthday babe) and Ali Vincent from the biggest loser was there with her mom. She's the one that won it a couple of seasons ago. That is Tracey's favorite show, and when we were walking by they were just getting ready to finish so there was only a couple of people in line. We decided to stop and meet her. Ty and Tristyn thought it was pretty cool to meet somebody that was "famous". Ty hung on to her autographed picture all night.

Boss 'er 'er

Ty and I had the following conversation the other night:
Ty: Dad can I bring my dinosaur in the bathtub?
Me: No, the dinosaur has batteries, it would ruin it.
Ty: Well I'm going to ask Mom then.
Me: You don't need to ask Mom, I already told you no.
Ty: Yea but Mom's the boss.
Me: I'm your boss too.
Ty: Well she's the boss 'er 'er.
Me: Laughter... It's pretty bad when even your 5-year old son recognizes that Mom is THE boss.
